Investigative: Highly developed investigative skills in terrorism, serious and organized crime investigations which includes many years of experience in investigating terrorism crimes, and one year investigating crimes against humanity in the UN system in the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UMNIK).

Organizational Management: Equipped with the skill of developing the strategic vision, mission, goals and objectives of an organization, and the demonstrated ability to translate that vision into strategic and operational plans.

Research and Analysis: Demonstrated ability in identifying, collecting, collating, integrating, analyzing information/evidence and contributing to numerous research projects, investigation plans, strategic papers, and policy documents. Author of three published books on Tourism and many papers in international publications. My research on terrorism, security, Rule of Law in Pakistan is cited all over the world.
Legal: An appreciation of both the continental civil law and common law judicial systems together with their procedural fusion in the field of international humanitarian and international criminal law as well as counter terrorism law & serious organized crime.
Recruitment & Capacity Building: Proven ability to recruit researchers, investigators, financial experts, police officers, trainers, ministerial staff, and IT professionals. Proven ability to design, develop, implement and evaluate training and capacity building programmes.
Special Skills: Can manage large scale operational and administrative assignments on account of extensive experience. Can develop strategy papers, and policy documents, draft rules and legislation.
Technical Skills: Extensive exposure to modern office equipment especially computers. Experienced in working with contemporary software programs and databases such as Word, Power Point, Excel, Lotus notes, Case map, SPSS, etc.

MEMBER BOARD OF GOVERNORS PAKISTAN PEACE COLLECTIVE, FCO UK & PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF INFORMATION & BROADCASTING
Joint project between UK & Pakistan to counter terrorism financing & foster safe charity practices in Pakistan. This project utilizing mass media to create public awareness was eventually subsumed within the relevant Ministry in Pakistan, in the interest of sustainability. As a board member, I was responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the project, as well as providing oversight to various programmatic modalities of the project.

MEMBER ADVISORY BOARD FOR TRANSFORMATIVE WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP IN CONFLICT SOCIETIES, DEN HAGUE, THE NETHERLANDS
Part of a globally constituted consultative group on transformative women’s leadership in conflict societies. Group tasked with identifying modalities for a women’s leadership institute to be set up for conflict areas in collaboration with CORDAID, an internationally operating emergency relief and development organization, working in and on fragility and in areas such as South Sudan, Congo, Afghanistan etc.
